Topic: On, why did the Chinese feel like they had the right to gold in U.S. territory?

+キャサリン🗾 !TGirlYJKXM2 months ago #48,074

I am referring to the California gold rush when a Chinese man struck it rich and then wrote home to tell them all to come out to California.

How is that one tax even disputed? They were taking resources out of the clear cut American territory.

becoz chinks are ungrateful fucktards who think they are entitled to everything and it is racist to deny them the slightest thing they want

What right did the white people have to come and gold in America, when the Indians had this land first?

How is that one even disputed? They were taking resources out of the clear cut Indian territory.

Because as we all know, Bert has no desire to work, when he can just get handouts to survive.

That's why he didn't reply to that thread.

He only hates you Gaybert. Me and On get along quite well.

Of course, when I call him a slant eyed fuck(which isn't very often), he knows I'm kidding.

You on the other hand, are quite racist against Chinese people. And when you call him that, you saying it is a racial slur.

I'm pretty sure you mean how Americans treated them. The native Californians got equally fucked since that purchase of land from Mexico.

Yes Spanish made slaves out of natives 1st
Then the so called Californian's made slaves out of Chinese.

I'm pretty sure the Chinese came there on their own accord like the other foreigners and later received shit from the Americans. The native Californians didn't oppose anybody to my current knowledge. They were one of the opposed by the Americans.

History of Chinese Americans
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The History of Chinese Americans or the history of ethnic Chinese in the United States relates to the three major waves of Chinese immigration to the United States with the first beginning in the 19th century. Chinese immigrants in the 19th century worked as laborers, particularly on the transcontinental railroad, such as the Central Pacific Railroad. They also worked as laborers in the mining industry, and suffered racial discrimination at every level of society.

While industrial employers were eager to get this new and cheap labor,

the ordinary white public was stirred to anger by the presence of this "yellow peril".

Despite the provisions for equal treatment of Chinese immigrants in the 1868 Burlingame Treaty, political and labor organizations rallied against the immigration of what they regarded as a degraded race and "cheap Chinese labor". Newspapers condemned the policies of employers, and even church leaders denounced the entrance of these aliens into what was regarded as a land for whites only.

So hostile was the opposition that in 1882 the United States Congress eventually passed the Chinese Exclusion Act, which prohibited immigration from China for the next ten years. This law was then extended by the Geary Act in 1892.

The Chinese Exclusion Act was the only U.S. law ever to prevent immigration and naturalization on the basis of race

Bud, I was commenting on being unable to understand if you meant Americans who moved to California or Native American and Hispanic groups who already lived there since before the Americans came.

I don't need a lengthy Wikipedia repost to know the Chinese was treated horribly.

Hispanics stated out as the Spanish mixed with Native Americans.

I said Hispanic because they were already residing there from before the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo.

I already know Native Americans' biological origins are Asian. They crossed over to North America from Asia via the barring straight land bridge.
